Gems

Gems are the premium currency of the MLP Gameloft Game, these are by far the most difficult to obtain and as a result are the most valuable!

Gems can be obtained through:

• Attaining certain levels
• Purchase through the in-game store for money
• Received through promotion from Tapjoy (Android users only?)
• Received from daily rewards (1-2 depending on the day)
• Found in the Balloon Pop (quantity varies, only found in 2nd teir games with hearts?)
• Dropped rarely by Derpy (needs confirmation)
• Rewarded through quests

Gems have a variety of uses including:

• Instantly completing in game timers
• Purchasing special characters, decor and buildings (prices vary heavily)
• Skipping certain quests/objectives
• Playing the highest teir of Flim and Flam's Balloon Pop (25 gems)

Tips/Advice

A small quantiy of gems can be saved towards the beginning of the game by ignoring Spike's demand to be fed a gem to speed up building times. After the timer completes, this message will go away and you will still have those hard earned gems!
