Crystal Guard is a crystal pony added in Update 3.1. He lives in Guard's Outpost, located in the Crystal Empire. You used to need to be at VIP level 11 to get him unlocked and be able to buy him.
He is part of the Protectors of the Empire and Cool-Colored Canterers collection.
