Rarity on Equestripedia

Rarity is a unicorn pony and a member of the Mane Six. She represents the Element of Generosity and lives in the Carousel Boutique in Ponyville with her father, mother, younger sister, Young Rarity, Future Sweetie Belle and Nightmare Rarity. She is voiced by Tabitha St. Germain, who also voiced Nightmare Moon, Princess Luna, Mrs. Cup Cake and Photo Finish. She's the older sister of Sweetie Belle and the oldest daughter of Hondo Flanks and Cookie Crumbles.

Rarity, along with the other members of the Mane Six and Princesses Celestia and Luna, appears in Canterlot, Sweet Apple Acres Klugetown, Everfree Forest and Crystal Empire when the player travels to them. While visiting, Rarity stays at the Canterlot Inn in Canterlot, the Sweet Apple Guest House in Sweet Apple Acres, the Patchwork Tavern in Klugetown, the Mane Six Campsite in the Everfree Forest and Crystal Inn in Crystal Empire.

Rarity has a unique random animation; she holds a mirror in her hoof and admires herself in it.

Rarity was one of the characters available in the beta version of My Little Pony presented at My Little Pony Project 2012 New York, at a cost of 200 .

Quotes

When tapped, Rarity will respond with a random short quote:

Additionally, at the beginning of the Clear the Skies minigame, she will say, "Oh! It, is, on!" and "Let's get to-it!" when selected in the Dance minigame.

Cost

In the beta version of My Little Pony presented at My Little Pony Project 2012 New York, Rarity cost 200 .

When the game was released, Rarity cost 90 . Her price was dropped to 70  during the Hearth's Warming Eve 2012 update, and again to 35  in the Movie Time Update and once again to 25  during the Hearth's Warming Eve Extended update. She is unlocked at level 15 previously level 19. Rarity has always cost 90  but in the first nine updates, of the game if the social networks was switched off, you could purchase her for 20,400 . This Glitch was disabled in the Sweet Apple Acres update. In current updates, you can earn her collecting 30 purple scarfs or buy with 30 .

Nightmare Night

Rarity wore a Bride of Frankenstein costume in the Nightmare Night update. This is the costume she was originally scripted to wear in "Luna Eclipsed" before she was cut from the episode.
