Rin Rage is a 10-day Limited-Time Siege that was released on December 16, 2022 (Update 8.0) and again in December 2023 through January 2024. This event takes place after the Sounds of Silence episode.

Quest 2: Taking the Stage
Twilight Sparkle: Now, I know Ponyville has had... uh... more than a few spells go wrong and causing mayhem and hijinks lately... (It's really not Trixie and Starlight's fault! They're trying their best!)
Twilight Sparkle: But just in case... I'm going to test out the Kirin transformation spell BEFORE I use it in the field. And with an abundance of safety precautions, too!
Twilight Sparkle: I've invited Autumn Blaze and Rain Shine to town to act as advisers and consultants; Spike will stay untransformed to act as everypony's spotter, just in case anything goes wrong...
Twilight Sparkle: ... And I've booked the safest testing space I could find on short notice! Uh... granted, it ended up being the Ponyville Theater... but at least it's off-hours.
Twilight Sparkle: They've actually got a really lovely all-Kirin touring production of "Phantom of the Clopera" going on in the evenings -- but so long as we're out of there by 5:30 sharp, we should be okay!

Kirin Twilight Sparkle: Heh... I think it's pretty obvious to everypony here that the six of us are NOT used to handling our anger the way you do. It can be so easy to bottle it up and ignore it...
Rain Shine: Yes... we Kirin did that for far too long. But after we regained our voices, we learned to keep our negative feelings in balance with our positive ones, and to accept both as natural!
