Snails was one of the characters available in the beta version of My Little Pony presented at My Little Pony Project 2012 New York, at a cost of 100 
.
He is a helper for stage 2 of The Spirit of the Forest

In the first nine versions of the game, if the social networks were switched off, you could purchase him for 2,500 .
Now, Snails can be bought after collecting 50 Snail Tokens 
. These can be won from the Royal Balloon Pop. Alternatively, he costs 500 gems.
