Snips is a school age pony whose best friend is Snails. He lives at the Playful Pad.

Snips was one of the characters available in the beta version of My Little Pony presented at My Little Pony Project 2012 New York, at a cost of 74 . Snips was later obtainable through Equestrian Balloon Pop Mini Game and Royal Balloon Pop.

Currently, he can be purchased with 20 Safety Scissor tokens .

Snips is a Helper in the following events: Friendship Day, Story of a Storm, Stranger than Fanfiction, and Somnambula Springtime.
